At Netflix, I lead two engineering teams within Studio Foundations Engineering across the Talent and Vendor Data domains. My teams build the platforms, software, and tools that enable Netflix’s studio to discover, hire, onboard, and manage the world-class talent and vendors who bring productions to life. This includes actors, directors, cast, crew, and the countless business partners who support global content creation. We manage data at significant scale, with millions of records that power decision-making across the business.

Our services are mission-critical, supporting hundreds of applications across Netflix’s studio. The engineering team spans backend engineers building services, managing our data platform, and creating integrations, alongside UI engineers developing the frontend applications and shared libraries that power experiences across all studio tools. Beyond my core teams, I work across Netflix’s evolving business, supporting initiatives in Ads, Games, Sports, and upcoming content partnerships. This requires deep understanding of how the studio operates, how the streaming service runs, and how new business lines are being built.

Leading at Netflix means managing exceptionally high talent density, which requires a different approach to leadership. Growing engineers who are already at the top of their game means creating meaningful opportunities and challenges that keep them engaged and developing. Outside my formal role, I helped build Netflix’s New Grad Program, a talent pipeline for early career engineers that marked a significant shift from the company’s historical practice of hiring only senior talent. This program has become an engine for developing the next generation of Netflix engineers.
